Funeral of the Metropolitan Bartolomeu Anania

Last week the Metropolitan Bartolomeu Anania died at the age of 89. Loved by many people he was an important figure of Orthodoxy, being in the same time an important man of culture and patriot. His funeral was a national event bringing together more than 7000 people and important religious, culture and political personalities. These two pictures are taken from in the Othodox cathedral in Cluj-Napoca, during the evening prayer when hundreds of people came and assisted at the religious ceremony.
